We said YES at the Hybrid Job Fair – highlights and reflections

News

Over 170 participants with disabilities, 13 inclusive employers, 2 public institutions, 6 talks, 1 interview, and hundreds of meaningful conversations – that’s how we change the job market by saying YES!

The third edition of the Hybrid Job Fair for People with (Dis)abilities is behind us – an event we proudly supported as a partner, with active engagement from the YES Team: on stage, at the stands, and behind the scenes.

Marta Pigla, our coordinator of the “YES to Career” programme, hosted one-on-one consultations about using LinkedIn to build your career and gave a talk on self-confidence in the job search.

Krystyna Włodarek – a trainer, mentor, and blind person – took part in an interview, sharing her career story and challenging common stereotypes about disability.

Agata Robińska, President of our Foundation, contributed her expertise on workplace inclusion through conversations with participants and employers. Her words best capture the spirit of the event:

“[…] A welcoming and accessible space, inspiring talks, attractive job offers – and most importantly: real, honest dialogue between people with disabilities and employers. That’s exactly the kind of event we’re proud to support – with full conviction and commitment”, Agata said.

Our thanks go to Michał Lisiak, EB & Com expert, the entire ROCKWOOL GBS team, and the Wózkowicze Foundation – for your trust, partnership, and openness.

We’re also grateful to all the Employers and Partners who say YES, and who joined us to support this event: ADM, Beiersdorf Poland, Carlsberg Shared Services, Franklin Templeton, Grant Thornton Poland, Ingka Group, John Deere, Miele Global Services, O-I, OLX, Transcom, the City of Poznań, ABSL Poland, the Pro Posnania Foundation – and many others.

So, how about next year? We’re always ready to say YES! ❤️
